The faculty of Home Science is committed to excellence and aspires to enhance the standard of living of individual in general and rural families and communities in particular through teaching, research and extension activities. The main focus is on empowerment of women and girl child in rural and urban households through self employment, service support to industries and communities that would help them to become better resources manager and contribute towards national development, promote home science as an entrepreneurial subject and make home science students stand successfully in the current market..
